⚖️Launch of the 'Know Your Rights' Training Sessions
We’re proud to launch our new Know Your Rights Training Series in partnership with Chispas Consulting, as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen community support with the Center for Victims of Torture. These trainings are designed to equip our community with practical tools, critical information, and a deeper sense of collective power.

Our first session in March — Understanding the Shifting Political Landscape — opened a vital space for awareness and connection. Each session is co-facilitated by a Community Facilitator, who brings lived experience, trusted leadership and grounding to support each session.

🎭 Liberty Scrap
In January, United Stateless partnered with Christina Masciotti and The Chocolate Factory for a development staging of Liberty Scrap.

The play followed a scrap metal’s artisits journey to legal empowerment as she fights to reunite with her father overseas. Christina Masciotti brings a stateless story to the stage with power and humanity.
🌍 Advocating for Human Rights on the Global Stage
We’re honored to share that United Stateless, alongside 22 other U.S.-based organizations, contributed to a joint report submitted to the United Nations Human Rights Council. This submission aims to bring international attention to the challenges faced by non-citizens in the U.S., including stateless individuals who are often remained unrecognized in law and policy. This collective effort, led by RFK Human Rights, is part of the UN Universal Period Review (UPR)process - a key mechanism for evaluating and improving human rights practices worldwide.

📢 Statement on Fast-Track Deportations
Last week, we were relieved to see U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy in Boston block a harmful policy that deported people to countries they've never known without notice or a chance to raise a fear-based claim.
This ruling is a step toward protecting stateless people from being deported into danger and upholding due process & human dignity. Full Statement:
